Looking for a reliable coffee maker with grinder?
Confused by all the options and trying to figure out what is actually worth while and what is just something that will cost more money but provide no value?
Whether you are looking for a coffee maker with grinder that will easily brew from one to 12 cups of great-tasting coffee, the fact is there are loads of products available but only a few that are actually worth investing in.
Here is a list of features that I absolutely LOVE and I recommend you consider when purchasing your own coffee maker with grinder.
1. Built-in burr grinder. This is to automatically grind your gourmat beans just before the coffee is brewed. Do not just settle for a standard one though, you want one that had grind control functions and allows you to specific the amount of beans and whether to make the coffee strong, medium or mild.
2. A large bean hopper. Make sure that the hopper can hold up to a half a pound of beans and IMPORTANT… ensure that it comes with a sealed lid so the beans stay fresh all night until the system turns on.
3. Automatic shut-off. There is nothing worse then forgetting to shut off your machine and then suddenly smelling burnt coffee. This feature will save you from that situation.
4. Grind-off option. Believe it or not, this is not a standard feature and if you want to brew coffee that is already ground, then you will want to ensure your coffee maker with grinder has the option to turn off the grinder.
5. Charcoal water filter. This is actually one of my favorite features and i swear it makes my coffee taste better. I thought my water was fine but the filter obviously removes some bad tasting nasty things.. I LOVE IT!
6. Brew-pause function. OK, maybe I lied about the water filter being my favorite… truth be told I use this feature pretty much every day… it is perfect for sneaking a cup midbrew when you are impatient and want your coffee now 
My favorite coffee maker with grinder, that has ALL OF THESE OPTIONS is Cuisinart DGB-900BC Grind and Brew Coffee maker. I have been very pleased with this purchase and in my opinion it makes OUTSTANDING, HOT coffee. The Coffee is very tasty and I love the aroma feature. As for temperature, the base gently warms the thermal pot when the machine goes on, then goes off when the brew is complete. The carafe is highly insulated and the coffee remains hot for quite a while.
I honestly feel that it could not be easier to use and cleaning is simple. I will admit though that the 3 year warranty was a big push for my investment in this coffee maker with grinder.
OK, so this coffee machine with bean grinder is not perfect. I find the bean grinder a little too coarse and i do not like that the water level is hidden. I guess if i could highlight one more thing, getting the last bit of coffee out of the carafe is a bit of a pain but other then that this coffee maker with grinder is truly a great addition to my kitchen.
